From an Ape Piaggio food truck to 3 London venues
Michele Pascarella founded Napoli on the Road in 2016.
He started Napoli on the Road with a three-wheel Ape Piaggio truck equipped with a wood-fired oven, bringing pizza to London’s streets and farmers’ markets.
Since then, Napoli on the Road has gained international acclaim. The pizzeria was named the World's No.1 Pizzeria in 2026 and Europe’s No.1 Pizzeria for three consecutive years - 2024, 2025, and 2026 - making it the top-ranked pizzeria in the UK - by the prestigious 50 Top Pizza Awards, the leading global guide for pizzerias.
Michele was named Best Pizza Maker in the World in 2023, and his signature pizza ‘Ricordi d’Infanzia’ won Best Pizza in the World in 2025.
